Kenyans in Victoria (KIV) is the main association and community hub uniting all Kenyan communities across Victoria. We welcome every Kenyan, regardless of tribe, county, background, community or visa status, with equal respect. +254 One Family One Love Welfare is KIV Welfare, the welfare arm of KIV.

Our community reaches beyond Victoria. Kenyans across Australia are welcome, including those living in states without a local community group. The spirit of care, connection and community support extends to everyone.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in community life and help build a welcoming, connected community.

Our story and impact

From community goodwill to a connected member organisation.

+254 One Family One Love Welfare was established in 2019 to support Kenyan students experiencing hardship. Community members responded through voluntary WhatsApp contributions, and that spirit of care grew into a trusted support network.

Organisation records report support for more than 500 people and over A$400,000 in community assistance coordinated over time. These historical totals are being reviewed as the organisation develops its official member portal with registration numbers, private member services, secure verification and transparent administration.

How do I join KIV?

Register with your name, email and consent. You can create a preview account and add profile details later. Final admission under the draft also requires payment, beneficiary and two adult next-of-kin records, and committee approval. Start member sign-up.

Do I need to make a payment to join?

The draft requires one combined A$150 joining payment: A$50 annual administration fee and A$100 one-off welfare contribution. Every member participates in welfare. Payments are currently closed; you can create a preview account, but this is not completed admission or active welfare eligibility.

Are KIV and One Family One Love the same service?

Kenyans in Victoria is the community association. +254 One Family One Love Welfare is KIV’s welfare arm, with the slogan “You Will Never Walk Alone”. Welfare services and registration are not open yet.

I cannot sign in. Where can I get help?

Use your registered email and password. For first-time sign-in or a forgotten password, request an email code. The sign-in page also lets you ask the KIV team for assistance. Never share your password or code. Open sign-in and help.

Can I use KIV on my phone?

Yes. The website works on phones, tablets and computers. Where your browser supports installation, use its “Add to Home screen” option for convenient access.

How is my information handled?

Member services are protected by sign-in. Avoid sending passwords, bank logins or one-time codes to anyone. Read the privacy notice and payment safeguards for more information.
