PRIVACY AND DATA NOTICE

Respecting member information.

+254 One Family One Love collects only the information needed to provide membership, support, communication, events, claims, certificates and donation services.

Optional welfare auto-deduction preferences

KIV records your opt-in or opt-out choice, consent time and accepted policy version. This preference is not a payment mandate. Only authorised financial signatories can access the consent register and exports. No bank account or full card details are collected here. Members can withdraw their preference at /member/auto-deduct or contact info@kenyansinvictoria.org. A separate provider authority and disclosures are required before any deductions begin.

Information we collect

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, suburbs, membership status, support details, nominated family records, profile photos, claim information, payment references and meeting invitations.

Why we use it

To verify members, manage welfare eligibility, send organisation updates, issue certificates, review claims, schedule meetings, protect the website and keep accurate community records.

Sensitive support records

Claim documents, relationship evidence and bereavement information are confidential and visible only to authorised claim reviewers.

Sharing information

Information is not sold. It may be shared only when needed for organisation administration, legal compliance, approved service delivery, payment processing or member-requested support.

Optional SMS greetings

Birthday and occasion greetings by text require a verified mobile number and a member’s explicit opt-in. Members can switch them off in notification settings or reply STOP. Until KIV’s SMS provider is activated, no greeting texts are sent.

Member rights

Members may ask KIV support to correct details, review records, update communication preferences or explain how their information is being used.
